HELM

HELM (Hierarchical Editing Language for Macromolecules)

HELM notation is the open biomolecular representation standard providing a means to represent various types of complex macromolecules (e.g. nucleotides, proteins, antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates) including the ones that contain unnatural amino acids or nucleotides/nucleosides. Originally developed by Pfizer scientists and later formalized by Pistoia Alliance, HELM became available as an open source toolkit and editor.  Scilligence Corporation worked with Pistoia Alliance to develop the HELM Web Editor.
