Sales/Account Executive


Responsible for the sales of Scilligence Informatics Solutions in US West Coast. Establish and build strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and attention to detail. Conduct market research to facilitate generation of leads and opportunities, as well as identify new initiatives to boost sales and product awareness. Proactive in acquiring new clients via networking events and trade shows.

Client Acquisition and Retention:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the life sciences software products and services offered by the company. Effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.

Sales Strategy:

  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets. This may involve market analysis, competitor research, and positioning the company’s offerings.

Relationship Building:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations. Understand client needs and align company solutions to address those needs.

Proposal Development:

  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients. Tailor solutions to meet the specific requirements of each client.

Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline by consistently identifying and pursuing new opportunities. Effectively manage the sales process from prospecting to closure.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure a seamless customer experience.


Industry Knowledge:

  • A solid understanding of the life sciences industry, including its challenges, trends, and regulatory environment.

Sales Experience:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the life sciences or software industry. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Negotiation Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to navigate complex sales cycles and secure deals.


  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs. Flexibility to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Problem Solving:

  • Effective problem-solving skills to address client concerns and find suitable solutions.

Technology Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with HubSpot to manage and track sales activities.

Team Player:

  • Collaboration and teamwork are essential, as the Sales Account Executive often works closely with cross-functional teams.
