Experiment and Form Improvements
FlexForm
- The FlexForm has undergone major improvements, introducing a new tab-based format that makes creating experiments more intuitive, similar to working with Microsoft Word templates. Users can now build, save, and share custom templates, as well as use enhanced sketcher components for Plasmid and Insert workflow.
- FlexForm also supports FASTA sequence search and Smart BLAST search, enabling users to easily find and import sequences directly into their experiment components.
Single Step Reaction (SSR)
- Introduced a new pivot table view for reaction data in SSR forms, providing improved visibility and easier management across different tables.
- Temperature and Time Ranges in SSR – Record single values or ranges for reaction temperatures or times.
- Containers Table Control – Show/hide Containers Table in SSR forms based on user preferences and integration with RegMol and Inventory.
- The system will prevent entry of an eq value greater than 1 for any limiting agent in the Reactant table. The value will be auto-corrected to 1.
- Users can now control visibility of SSR form table columns based on user preferences, instead of system-wide defaults.
Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) Enhancements
- Protonated Nitrogen Control – Added a new “Port-N field for ionizable lipids, letting scientists adjust protonated nitrogen counts to ensure accurate N/P ratio calculations.
- Excess Volume in Material Dilution – Optional “Excess Volume” field allows users to account for volume loss during experiments, automatically updating material and diluent volumes.
- Total Mass Ratio – LNP experiments now display the total mass ratio in the summary table for easier reference.
Dose Response Assay workflow
- Protocol Links – Click protocol names in ELN experiments to open the protocol records directly.
- Protocol File Preview – View files attached to protocols without downloading.
- IC50 Confidence Intervals – Optional confidence interval bands can now be added on IC50 curve plots.
Reporting and Analytics
- User Activity Analytics – New user-focused reporting tools with charts, filters, and exportable data have been added to this release, allowing admins to create reports based on user activities across different categories.
Account and Permission Controls
- Sysadmin Auto-Add –New ELN accounts now include a sysadmin by default (configurable).
- Restricted User Info –Author hyperlinks now show details only to Admins and Sysadmins.
- Project Member Permissions – Add/edit/delete users button access and reading group settings are now role-restricted.
User Interface and Experience
- Clearer Password Expiration Message – Updated login text with reset instructions.
- Cleaner Recycle Bin – Removed unnecessary icons.
- File Size Display – Attachment sections now show file sizes.
- Streamlined the co-author dialog box display
Specialized Features
- Overall Yield in Final Reports – Delivery summary table now includes the chemical route’s overall yield (Final Report is available as an optional add-on).
- Audit Trail – Added configurable audit tracking to facilitate GMP compliance, enabling organizations to monitor and align audit requirements with regulatory standards.
